He was born on September 21, 1954. He started his general surgery residency at St. Agatha Hospital in Cologne, Germany  after graduating from the University of İstanbul, Medical School in 1977. In the eighties, he completed  aesthetic-plastic surgery   and hand-reconstructive microsurgey  training as a second specialty. He has helped setting up hand surgery and microsurgery section at Cologne-Merheim Hospital Plastic Surgery Department  and burn unit. At Aachen University Medical School , he had served as vice chief of the department  of plastic , reconstructive and  burn surgery . He  also had served as the chief of  plastic and hand surgery division of  Cologne St. Agatha Hospital. He left the university and started his own private  practice at Cologne Media Park Hospital where he had worked from 2003 until 2010 as the director of Aesthetic-Plastic Surgery unit. After the invitation from The Acıbadem Health Group in 2010, he settled his private practice at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital, İstanbul Turkey where he has been working since then.
