Dr Eva Siolo’s interest in plastic surgery was sparked during her 4th year as a medical student. She used to spend the holidays volunteering in the plastic surgery department at Frenchay Hospital in North Bristol. During her 6th year of medical school, Dr Eva spent 6 months as a volunteer in the plastic surgery department at both Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town and King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban.
Dr Eva’s postgraduate training started at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban when she was doing her internship and residency in surgery, burns and plastic surgery. In order for her to train in plastic surgery, she had to pass 6th year local medical exams. Dr Eva became double qualified so she could complete her plastic surgery training. She lectured and trained many young plastic surgeons during her academic career at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
After her board exams, Dr Eva took an interest in craniofacial surgery, regenerative surgery and body contouring, which allowed her to open her private practice focused on aesthetics of the face and body. Her passion is to improve and maintain beauty as well as prevent, rejuvenate and regenerate. Her fascination in aesthetics and balance of the face and body is shared by a team of therapists.
Dr Eva believes in a holistic approach to beauty, depending on one’s lifestyle and self-care practices. To her, it’s about plastic surgery as well as how you treat your mind and body before and after surgery. Her team at The Aesthetic Wellness Practice will take care of optimising you before your procedure and help you to recover from it. Every operation is a journey, but you will have people caring for you throughout that journey. When surgery is not an option, there is a variety of non-surgical or minimally invasive procedures to choose from. These procedures can also help you to maintain your surgical results for a longer time.
Dr Eva is well recognised internationally and regularly presents at international meetings. She holds leading positions in international societies, such as the National Secretary for South Africa for the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and a member of the Board of Directors for the International Society of Plastic Regenerative Surgery. She is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons; The Aesthetic Society; the International Federation of Adipose Therapeutics Society; the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of Southern Africa; and The Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons of South Africa.
What’s more, Dr Eva is an editor for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and has been involved in non-profit medical relief organisations, like Operation Smile for sub-Saharan Africa.

Language
Symposium Language will be English. No simultaneous translation will be available during the symposium.
Registration & Information
Registration and Information desk will be open between 07:30 – 18:00 hours during the symposium dates at the hotel.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of attendance to the symposium will be given to all registered participants.
Photo & Video Shooting
No photo shooting & video shot should be allowed during the symposium. Liable of these actions will be sentence to turn off their record devices.
