Author of Facial Harmonization and Functional Beauty, which presents an innovative approach to the introduction to aesthetic treatment, with technical and semiological criteria for the evaluation and execution of treatment. His approach proposes the individual valorization of beauty and capacity of expression, where aesthetic treatment should be carried out according to the characteristics of each individual case. Dr. Matheus Arantes graduated in Medicine from the Centro Universitário UnirG, did post-graduation in Dermatology at the Instituto Superior de Medicina (ISMD) and a Master’s in Medicine at the University of Porto. He has also participated in Continuing Medical Education programs at Mount Sinai and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Arantes, a reference point in facial harmonization and rejuvenation, also administers and coordinates courses and extensions in the institution that bears his name, which focuses on medical teaching, mainly in the areas of dermatology and plastic surgery. He has been an Allergan Medical Institute Speaker since 2015. In addition, he is frequently invited to speak at congresses and conferences. His career in the academic area includes the Faculdade de Medicina São Leopoldo Manic and the Instituto Superior de Medicina. He works in the field of dermatology, where he devotes his time to the treatment of patients in his clinics in Campinas/SP and São Paulo/SP

1987 yılında Samsun’da doğan Melis Torluoğlu, lisans eğitimini Başkent Üniversitesi Beslenme ve Diyetetik Bölümü’nde 2011 yılında tamamlamıştır. Eğitimi süresince beslenme ve diyet anabilim dalında ulusal ve uluslarası birçok kongre ve seminere katılmış, yine öğrencilik yıllarında bir yaz dönemi projesi olarak ilköğretim çağındaki çocukların beslenme ve spor eğitimi aldığı bir program olan “Sağlıklı Yaşam Kampı” projesini çocuklara verdiği uygulamalı eğitimlerle başarıyla tamamlamıştır. 2011 yılını GATA ve Başkent Üniversitesi Hastanelerinde sürdürüp; tez çalışmasını Başkent Üniversitesi Hastanesi Diyaliz Merkezi’nde "Böbrek Hastalıklarında Beslenme Tedavisi" üzerine tamamlamıştır. Hepatit taşıyan ve taşımayan böbrek hastası grupta beslenme durumlarının saptanması üzerine hazırladığı tez çalışmasını başarıyla tamamlamış ve diyaliz merkezlerine bağlı birçok hastanın beslenme tedavisini üstlenmiştir.

Danışanlarını aktif olarak tanımak ve ihtiyaçlarına daha verimli karşılık verebilmek adına öğrencilik dönemi ve sonrasında etkili iletişim yöntemleri, etkili konuşma sanatı, takım çalışması, liderlik, proje ve kriz yönetimi gibi birçok eğitime aktif olarak katılmıştır.

Çalışma hayatına mezun olduğu yıl içerisinde Haziran ayında Acıbadem Sağlık Grubu'nda başlamıştır. Mezuniyet sonrası yürüttüğü süreç içerisinde Acıbadem Fulya Hastanesi'nde klinik ve kurum diyetisyenliği görevinde bulunmuş ve çalıştığı Acıbadem Etiler Tıp Merkezi’nde, obezite, düzensiz beslenme ve kilo atışı, diyabet hastalığı, gebelik döneminde diyabet, gebelik döneminde sağlıklı beslenme, insülin direnci, reaktif hipoglisemi, diyabet ve karbonhidrat sayımı, emzirme döneminde beslenme ve kilo kontrolü, çocuklara yönelik sağlıklı beslenme programlarının oluşturulması, genç ve çocukluk çağında obezite, anoreksiya, ortoreksiya ve bulmia nervoza hastalarında beslenme, böbrek hastalıklarında beslenme, hipotirodi hastalarında kilo kontrolü, sindirim sistemi ile ilgili sorunlarda beslenme ve kilo almaya yönelik beslenme programları hazırlayarak devam ettirmiştir. Birçok yerli ve yabancı şirket çalışanına beslenme danışmanlığı görevini yürütmüş olup birçok derneğe eğitim ve seminer vermiştir. Her hafta düzenli olarak Milliyet Pembe Nar köşesindeki yazılarıyla güncel konuları ele almakta ve okuyucuları bilgilendirmeye çalışmaktadır.

Şubat 2012-2013 süresinde TRT’de yayınlanan “Anne Çocuk” ve “Medyada Sağlık” programlarında beslenme bölümü danışmanlığını ve sunuculuğunu üstlenmiş, birçok televizyon kanalında çeşitli konularda ropörtajları yayınlanmış ve konuk olarak katılmıştır.
Son dönemde Beslenme ve Diyetetik Bölümü öğrencilerine rehberlik ettiği bir mentorluk çalışmasında aktif olarak rol alırken aynı zamanda Türkiye Diyetisyenler Derneği ve Avrupa Crohn ve Kolit Organizasyonu üyesidir.

He was born in September 1963 in Paola (south of Italy) and lives and works in Rome since 1981.

are attended by aesthetic surgeons and doctors in Italy, Europe, Asia and America.

Has been appointed for teaching how to improve look appearance and eye rejuvenation at many Masters (advanced formation courses) at Italian Universities and Superior Schools of Aesthetic Medicine and also held clinical presentations at many congresses of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery and of Aesthetic Medicine both in Italy and abroad.

He published two papers in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (April 2016 and June 2019) about Eye Rejuvenation with H.A. fillers, classification of the Upper Eyelid Aging and details of surgical approach. Presently, his main interests are devoted to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of female breast and to the cosmetic issue of the male breast, but also to cosmetic surgery of abdomen even after bariatric surgery and has standardized the MesoRhinoFiller simplified and secure technique for nose re-shaping.

Known for his scientific work in re-constructive surgery, Estetik International surgeon Prof. Cenk Şen excels in the special field of revision rhinoplasty to a degree that played a great role in gaining his recognition. Prof. Şen is also a pioneer in lipodem,oral and neck surgery.

A graduate of Ankara University Medical Faculty, Board-certified surgeon Dr. Selçuk Aytaç completed his plastic surgery training at Uludağ University medical faculty.

Dr. Tunc Tiryaki is a plastic surgeon and Director of Cellest Clinic in Istanbul and Tiryaki Surgery in London.

He specializes in aesthetic surgery procedures, particularly in breast and body surgery, as well as stem cell assisted mini face-lifts to produce a young looking but non-operated appearance.

He is also well known for the natural-looking results of his minimally invasive procedures, especially in suspension techniques, micro-lifting and regenerative cell injections.

Having many international publications, book chapters and patents in plastic surgery, Dr. Tiryaki is also the editor of the recent Inverse Abdominoplasty textbook, which is published in 2016.

Dr. Tiryaki is the Chair of Humanitarian Programs of ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons), and founder of ISAPS-LEAP Surgical Relief Teams, who conducts volunteer reconstructive surgery operations all around the world.

He is a professional photographer and has travel stories published on newspapers and televisions, particularly in Africa and underwater works on sunken Anatolian cities like Samsat.

Being married to Sylvia Tiryaki and having one son, Dr Tiryaki is an experienced diving instructor, mountaineer, and skipper.

He developed and patented MEST (MEchanical SVF Transfer) and ARAT (Adjustable Regenerative Adipose Transfer) techniques with his studies for the last 3 years in Turkey and Korea.
As a dedicated educator and professional public speaker, he has presented numerous of national and international meetings, ha has also appeared on several television and radio stations.

 

Professor H. Eray COPCU is former the Head of Surgical Disciplines and Head and founder of Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Medical Faculty of Izmir University.  Before this, he was the Vice Dean of Adnan Menderes University, Medical Faculty in addition to his roles of founder and Head of Department in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Adnan Menderes University.  His specific teaching and research interests are in the areas of the breast surgery, cell therapy, stem cell and pre-adipocytes.  He has also published more than 50 refereed articles in international journals many proceedings, and contributed extensively to international books written in English. He is editor in chief in Internet Journal of Plastic Surgery and member of editorial boards of many international journals.
Professor Copcu completed his MD degree in Ege University, Turkey in 1992; his residency programme in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery, in Izmir Atatürk Teaching Hospital in 1999, and his Assistant and Associate professor degrees at Adnan Menderes University, Turkey between 2000-2006. Throughout his career, he has been visiting Professor to several international universities, including Pittsburgh and Cincinnati University US, University of Edinburgh, University of Leeds in UK, University of Montreal in Canada and University of Tokyo in Japan and given lectures and workshops especially in cell therapies, fat grafting and breast reduction.

Prof. Dr. Gursel Turgut received his M.D. degree from Istanbul University, School of Medicine in 1992. Between 1992 and 1994, he worked as the Galatasaray Sports Club football team physician. After his position as an intern at University of Erciyes sport medicine programme, he transferred to American Hospital as a resident in emergency medicine.

He began his specialization in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in 1994 at the Plastic and Reconstructive Clinic in Sisli Pediatric Hospital.

He undertook assistantships at Koln-Germany St. Agatha Krankenhaus Plastische Chirurgie Hospital in 1998, and at Hamburg the Berufgenossenchaftilches Unfalkrankenhaus Handchirurgie in 1999. In 2003, he performed free flap, emergency facial trauma and orthognathic (jaw and teeth) surgeries in Belgium St. John's Hospital’s Division of Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2004,Prof. Dr. Turgut worked at Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery - NYU School of Medicine, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai Health System.

Dr. Turgut is noted for his work on custom-made 3D implants, epithesis and prosthesis applications. He is also specialized at using micro-surgical techniques on ear and nose and breasts. Dr. Turgut has developed and applies his own techniques for breast reduction and aesthetic nose surgeries. Dr. Turgut has worked with diabetic patients and performed the first stem cell application on a diabetic foot ulcer in collaboration with Pakize Tarzi Clinic and Genkord Stem Cell and Blood Bank ın Turkey.

Currently, Dr Turgut is affiliated with Liv Hospital, Istanbul, and performs his surgeries in its facilities. In addition, Dr. Turgut teaches at University of Beykent, Division of Oral and Dental Health under associate professorship appointment. He works in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Ekrem Ekinci of Istanbul Technical University, Chemistry Department, on developing carbon foam medical implants.

Associate Professor of Dermatology

She was born in 1965 in Ankara, Turkey. In 1988, she graduated from Gazi University School of Medicine. She completed her Dermatology residency at Ankara Numune Hospital Dermatology Department in 1991. She became an Assistant Professor at Inönü University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, Malatya. In 1992 she went to Baylor College of Medicine Department of Dermatology, Houston, to complete her training in 'Dermatologic Surgery, Mohs surgery and Cutaneous Oncology'. In 1994, she became the Chair of Dermatology Department at Inönü University. In 1995, she became an Associate Professor of Dermatology. In 1997 she moved to Istanbul and established the Dermatology Department at the V.K.F American Hospital. She had been working at the American Hospital as the Chief of the Department until 2017. Meanwhile, between 2013-2018 she worked at Koç University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology as a visiting professor. In 2018 she started to work at Liv Hospital, Ulus, Istanbul. Fields of expertise are dermatologic surgery, cutaneous oncology, dermatologic lasers and cosmetic procedures.

Known as Doctor B, Op. Bülent Cihantimur, MD is a world-famous aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has more than 20 years of experience, owns a membership of ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery). Constantin Stan , MD , PhD was born in 1956 in Romania and he graduated Magna Cum Laude the University of Medicine and Farmacy, Iasi, Romania in 1982. He is both board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Head and Neck Surgeonat UMF Bucharest. Also, he is fellow and member of many surgery societies including Romanian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Romanian Society of Aesthetic Surgery, Romanian Society of Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery, ISAPS and IPRAS. In 2010 he get the PhD titles in Plastic Surgery at University of Medicine Timisoara. Speaking fluent English, French, Italian and Spanish, dr. Dr. Beatriz Nicaretta is a Brazilian trained Board certified Plastic Surgeon and has elected to focus her interests and talents exclusively in the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of the face and body.

She holds a charismatic personality, always keen to inform their patients and to deliver natural and harmonious results, up to the smallest details. Her passion for beauty started very early, and at the age of 16 she entered the medical school being as one of the youngest ever medical students in her Institution.

Dr. Nicaretta is a member of the Postgraduate Association of ULBRA University, where she obtained her medical degree at the age of 22, and is serving as a corresponding member of the Brazilian Association of Plastic Surgeons, in Athens, Greece. She pursued her residency in General Surgery at Luteran Hospital in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She obtained her Master degree in Medicine from the University of Porto, in Porto, Portugal, where she was also granted license to practice in the European Union after undertaking the formal state exam of Diploma revalidation. Dr. Luiz Haroldo Graduated in medicine in 1974 from the University of Para, Dr. Luiz Haroldo Pereira is a physician specialist in general surgery and plastic surgery. His plastic surgery clinic in Copacabana is a reference in Brazil and abroad. Dr. Luiz Haroldo has authored several papers, book chapters and articles on liposuction, lipo enertia, silicone implants, facial surgeries and abdominoplasty in Rio de Janeiro.

Dr. Matt Stefanelli is a French & European Board certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon, with a private practice in Paris & Dubai.

He has an MBA in healthcare management and he is an Anatomist at Paris Descartes University. Dr. Matt Stefanelli is the President of ISAAMS (International Society of Anatomy for Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery).

John Peter Cole, MD specializes in numerous hair restoration techniques. Most prominently, this includes Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), Body Hair Transplant, Plug Redistribution, Plug Removal, Scar Revision, Facial Hair and Eyebrow Restoration, and Body Hair Farming.

Dr. John P. Cole attended the Mercer University on an academic scholarship from the United States Army and graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in Chemistry and Biology back in 1981. He then received his medical degree in 1985 from the Medical College of Georgia. His postgraduate degree in internal medicine came from the University of Missouri. Thomas M. Biggs, M.D. (Houston, Texas, USA) Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Biggs is a Clinical Professor of plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, Texas) and has been a Visiting Professor of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

He has served as President of the Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and President of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and has been an Examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Biggs is a Life member of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons and a member of many other societies. He has been Editor-in-Chief of the IPRAS Journal and the Journal of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Biggs is the author of over 100 editorials and scientific publications in medical journals, several book chapters and hundreds papers at various meetings. From College to Craniomaxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Cohen grew up in the Washington D.C. area and went to college at Emory University, where he majored in English and graduated summa cum laude. He was accepted as an early decision candidate at the George Washington University School of Medicine, where he graduated in 1980. Dr. Cohen trained in General Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City and originally pursued a career in Cardiac Surgery. After his second year at Columbia, he was selected into Dr. Andrew Morrow’s Cardiac Surgery Fellowship and spent 2 years as a Clinical Associate at the National Institutes of Health in the Cardiac Surgery Branch.

While at N.I.H. Dr. Cohen saw a magnificent program on PBS on the new field of Craniofacial Surgery and changed his career path. He went on to complete his General Surgery residency at Dartmouth and received his Plastic Surgical training at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Cohen was honored to be accepted into a fellowship in Craniofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery with Dr. Henry Kawamoto at UCLA. Dr. Cohen was double boarded in General Surgery (no longer active) and Plastic Surgery. Dr. Cohen currently specializes in cosmetic and craniofacial surgery and brings a wealth of experience as well as a professional artistic eye to his work.

FACES + Opens in San Diego
From 1990 to 1993, Dr. Cohen founded and directed the Craniofacial Anomalies Program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. From 1993 to 1999, he was Co-Director of the Center for Craniofacial Disorders at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In 1999, Dr. Cohen became the Chief of Craniofacial Surgery and Surgical Director of the Craniofacial Center at Children’s Hospital of San Diego and founded FACES+TM. Dr. Cohen is very involved in the Plastic Surgical Training program at the University of California, San Diego, where he serves as Clinical Professor. In addition to founding and securing funding for the UCSD/Rady Craniofacial Fellowship, Dr. Cohen also started the UCSD Aesthetic Fellowship. In 2001, 2011 AND 2014, Dr. Cohen was selected as Teacher of the Year by the UCSD plastic surgery residents.

Dr. Cohen has been a major contributor to aesthetic and cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body over the past 10 years since founding FACES+, one of the first comprehensive Plastic Surgery, Skin and Laser Centers in the U.S. Over that time, his group was one of the first early adopters of the fractional laser. FACES+ continues to innovate in laser, minimally invasive, and non-surgical care. Dr. Cohen created the FACES+ Continuum of Care concept which recognizes the major aging patterns and how they affect the different levels of the face. Dr. Cohen developed the FACES+ multi-modality approach to facial aging and is one of the pioneers in the modern resurgence of fat grafting and of regenerative and stem cells in fat. His facelift, rhinoplasty, liposuction and fat grafting practice is one of the most prestigious in the country and his natural, nuanced and artistic work is respected throughout the world by his peers and by his patients.
Dr. Cohen has been very involved in innovations throughout his career and has worked with numerous biotechnology companies on new product development, strategy, business development and implementation.

Dr. Cohen has written over 150 articles for the medical literature and served on the editorial board of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, the Annals of Plastic Surgery, and the Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal. Currently, he is on the editorial board of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. For 9 of the past 12 years, Dr. Cohen has been named by his peers as one of the Best Plastic Surgeons as reported in San Diego Magazine. In 2016, the SD Metro Magazine named Dr. Cohen one of the Best Doctors in San Diego. Previously, he had been recognized by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution as one of the Best Plastic Surgeons in Atlanta. Dr. Cohen is an elected member of the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. which elects as members “individuals in virtually every profession that has anything to do with scholarship, creative genius or intellectual distinction.”
Dr. Cohen is known throughout the world for his contributions in the treatment of children with facial deformities and his work in helping to pioneer new regenerative cell therapies in both his own specialty as well as in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine as well as in Cardiology. He is the inventor of the first commercially distributed internal distraction system, the MID system (Stryker, Inc.), and holds a patent on the Macropore biodegradable distraction device. He helped develop a number of other new surgical techniques in conjunction with Macropore Biosurgery, Inc. and Stryker Leibinger, Inc. Dr. Cohen recently has co-invented a new outpatient Biofilling kit with Tulip Medical and a closed system liposuction and automatic fat grafting device with Millenium Medical Technologies. Dr. Cohen was first in the world to treat neonates with Pierre Robin with distraction and this has become the procedure of choice to prevent the need for tracheostomy in these little children. Along with Dr. Meltzer, their Craniofacial team at Rady Children’s Hospital, was the second group in the world to perform endoscopic craniosynostosis surgery, which has become an important option of care in patients with sagittal synostosis. He was formerly on the executive boards of the American Society of Craniofacial Surgery, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. Dr. Cohen is a founder of the Cell Society, an international organization dedicated to educating physicians and the public on emerging treatments in Regenerative Medicine.

Sharing Knowledge & Caring For Children
Dr. Cohen has been an invited speaker throughout the United States, Europe, Asia South America and Australia and is an honorary member of the Royal College of Australian Surgeons. He has been an invited surgeon to a number of centers, including Johns Hopkins, Stanford and UCSF to demonstrate and teach surgical techniques. Dr. Cohen has lectured and operated throughout the world demonstrating new surgical techniques in Regenerative Surgery, most recently in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Spain.
Dr. Cohen devotes a significant amount of his time to taking care of children with facial deformities such as cleft lip and serious craniofacial skeletal malformations. Dr. Cohen and his wife are involved with a number of charities, including Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, where he has served on the Advisory Board and received the 2004 Founder’s Award for his work on children and in 2009 and 2013, the Outstanding Physician of the Year Award. In 2016, Dr. Cohen received the John Carney Award for Outstanding Service to Fresh Start Surgical Gifts. Dr. Cohen and his wife, Sheri, also have supported the Contemporary Museum of Art in La Jolla and the Timken Museum of Art in San Diego and have helped to lead a fundraising campaign to benefit the Center for Neuro-Craniofacial Surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego, having been one of the first physicians at Rady to become part of the Circle of Care. Dr. Cohen is also an avid supporter of Fresh Start Surgical Gifts and along with its founder, Dr. Dennis Nigro, created the Fresh Start Center at Rady Children’s Hospital.

In 2011 Dr. Cohen was awarded a United States Senate Certificate of Commendation from Diane Feinstein for his work with children and in 2001, he received a Health Care Hero Award and a Special Certificate of Congressional Recognition for his work with Fresh Start.
An Artist: In & Out of Operating Room

Dr. Cohen began painting in 1984 when his wife bought him paints. His earliest work focused on portraiture and human expression. From 1984 to 2000, Dr. Cohen painted and sculpted, exhibiting and selling his work in Hanover, New Hampshire, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Atlanta, Georgia and La Jolla, California. After a 14 year hiatus, in November of 2014, Dr. Cohen began a new series of work of mixed media on handmade Japanese paper (Washi). Dr. Cohen donates the proceeds of his art sales to Fresh Start Surgical Gifts and other charities and has continued to produce new works that were displayed at Gallery Beres in Paris in January of 2016 and will be on display in Marseille in October of 2016.
